Custom Embroidery Terms
A copy of the terms must be signed by the customer prior to starting any work.
Red Rose Crafts Custom Embroidery Agreement
This agreement between Red Rose Crafts (RRC) and the Customer, when signed by both parties, shall be a binding agreement with respect to Customer’s custom embroidery order.
Digitization & Approval
The Customer shall provide RRC with the artwork to be embroidered. RRC shall digitize the artwork to enable embroidery of that artwork. RRC shall make a “best effort” attempt to preserve detail and color of the design, but is limited by process constraints and natural variations in materials.
RRC shall provide the Customer with one (1) design test sample, on twill fabric, to verify the digitization of the design, color selections, and size are as specified by the Customer. Design changes following the test sample may incur additional fees. Additional test samples will incur additional fees. After Customer approval, no changes may be made to the design.
Materials & Approval
RRC shall procure and provide all materials and supplies required for the order. Materials include thread and textiles being embroidered (e.g. shirts, towels, caps, bags, etc.) The Customer shall finalize textile selections in conjunction with design approval. The Customer is strongly encouraged to use RRC textiles, as excellent results have been demonstrated. Should the Customer select alternative textiles, RRC may require one (1) article be procured for use as a pre-production test and approval sample, and the Customer will incur an additional fee.
Production lead time
After design and pre-production test approvals, RRC shall provide a production lead time estimate.
Returns/Exchanges
Custom embroidery is a product unique to each Customer, and as such RRC does not accept returns or offer exchanges. RRC inspects materials prior to production, and strives to use the best materials to achieve each Customer’s vision. Variations in the production process and materials occasionally result in variations between finished, embroidered articles. These variations are considered normal.
Copyright, Rights, Artwork disposition & Usage
Artwork copyright belongs to the creator of the artwork. The Customer is responsible for acquiring usage rights and/or licenses for that artwork, and shall provide proof of the same to RRC before digitization of the artwork. RRC will preserve the digitized artwork and embroidery files for a period of one (1) year. RRC reserves the right to use images and samples of any finished products for promotional materials, displays, and advertising in any medium.
